Rebecca
Receptionist

Rebecca is the friendly face you’ll first connect with at thoughts and things. As a receptionist, she is dedicated to creating a welcoming, supportive, and organised environment for every client who walks through the door.
With a strong interest in psychology and mental health, Rebecca is passionate about contributing to a space where clients feel safe, respected, and cared for from their very first point of contact. She understands that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and she strives to provide warm, compassionate, and attentive service to help make the process as smooth and comfortable as possible.
Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys staying active, spending time with friends and family, and continuing to learn about human behaviour and wellbeing.

q&a
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love staying active and keeping busy. Sometimes I like higher-energy sports like volleyball or badminton, but other times I like to take it easy by going bouldering or just to the gym. No matter the sport, though, I love doing it with friends, and think it's a great way to get both my steps and my social time in!
What’s your favourite quote?
"Let's just have some fun!"
Where is your favourite travel destination?
New Zealand! The scenery and hikes, especially those of the South Island, were breathtaking. And not to mention, the animals were so cute as well!
What does therapy mean to you?
To me, therapy is a space for healing – it’s an opportunity to gently unpack your experiences, make sense of your emotions, and reconnect with parts of yourself that may have been hurt, silenced, or overlooked. Healing isn’t always linear, and it isn’t always easy, but having a safe and supportive space to be seen and heard can make all the difference.
